Students at Hackler Intermediate School are collecting excess Halloween candy for Operation Gratitude’s Candy for Heroes, a national program in support of U. S. Troops and first responders. The candy will be included in Care Packages to be distributed to troops deployed overseas and first responders across the country.
Anyone interested in participating in Operation Gratitude’s Candy for Heroes may drop off candy donations at the office of Hackler School at 965 West Road in Mountain Home until Friday,November 11. Toothbrushes, dental floss and toothpaste are also being collected for the Care Packages.
