Basketball makes up the local Saturday schedule as Mountain Home's high school and junior high boys' teams will take part in a preseason tuneup. The Bombers and Junior Bombers will compete in a jamboree at Jacksonville.
Also on the high school level, Yellville-Summit will participate in a jamboree at Clinton.
The Lead Hill Junior High Tournament is set to get underway. In girls' action, Norfork and Bergman tip off at ten a.m., Bruno-Pyatt meets Jasper at 1:45, Flippin faces Deer at 3:00, and Lead Hill takes on Kingston at 5:30. On the boys' bracket, Norfork plays Bergman at 11:15, Bruno-Pyatt is paired with Jasper at 12:30, Flippin meets Deer at 4:15, and Lead Hill faces Kingston at 6:45.
On the seventh grade level, Melbourne will compete in a jamboree at Southside Batesville.
