A new support group at the Peitz Cancer Support House will have its first meeting this week. The Living with Metastatic Cancer group will hold its “Sharing and Caring” session Thursday at noon, and they will continue to meet on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. Metastatic cancer is the name given to cancer when it spreads to other parts of the body.
