Arkansas State Police were led on a foot pursuit Wednesday evening after a traffic stop in the Mallard Meadows area off Mallard Point Road. Officers pulled over a vehicle driven by 42 year old Johnny Ray Lee of Mountain Home. He and another suspect then fled on foot. Officers notified residents in the area and searched for a short time. They were able to quickly apprehend Lee. The second suspect was not found but has been identified.
Johnny Ray Lee has been charged with DWI, driving on a suspended license, reckless driving,, misdemeanor drug paraphernalia, no proof of liability insurance, defective equipment and misdemeanor failure to appear. His bond is set at $3,535 and he is scheduled to appear in court January 5th, 2017.
