Employees of the White River Valley Electric Cooperative collected nearly 3,000 pounds of food and collected over $7,000 in their third annual Power to turn Hunger into Hope Food Drive. The food and money will be used to stock area pantries including Christian Action Ministries in Taney County, Ozark County Food Pantry and Heart of the Hills Food Harvest in Douglas County.
