Roads clearing in Baxter County



     The Arkansas State Highway and Tranportation Department shows roads are clear in Baxter County and throughout the most northern sections of the state. The Baxter County Sheriff’s office says there are some sections of Highway in the most southern portions of the county which have a light amont of snow, however, nothing impassable. Highway 7 south from Harrison is still shown as having snow as well as, Highway 65 from St. Joe heading south.

     In Izard county Highway 5 South show sections mixed with snow and slush. Highway 69 still shows snow down to Batesville. Highway 167 also shows snow from Ash Flat to Batesville.

     The Twin Lakes area may see some light snow again this afternoon but it won’t be much according to Meterologist Dennis Cavanaugh with the National Weather Service in Little Rock
