Basketball, swimming, wrestling and bowling make up the local Thursday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School wrestling team will be at home as they host duals at Bomber Gymnasium. Action begins at six p.m.
Mountain Home’s high school swim team will be in Siloam Springs as they compete in a meet at John Brown University. The start time is set for 3:30.
In high school basketball, Gainesville’s girls entertain Mansfield, the Lutie boys are home against Ava, and Dora’s girls host Norwood.
On the junior varsity level, Izard County travels to Imboden to face Sloan-Hendrix.
Mountain Home’s freshmen girls’ basketball team will be back in front of the home crowd as they take on Harrison. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00.
Mountain Home will also have three junior high boys’ games against Harrison, but they will be on the road. The seventh grade game tips off at 4:00 followed by the eighth grade and freshmen contests.
Also on the junior high schedule, Cotter entertains Jasper, Flippin makes the trip to Eros to play Bruno-Pyatt, Yellville-Summit heads to Green Forest, and Viola is home against Calico Rock.
Several high school bowlers will gather at Driftwood Lanes for the Norfork Bowling Tournament. Action starts at 3:30 as the other schools competing will be Flippin, Southside Batesville and Guy-Perkins.
