
The Mountain Home High School wrestling teams had mixed results as they competed in duals Thursday at Jonesboro. Despite giving up 18 points in forfeits, the Bombers won their first round by nearly doubling up Cabot 54-29. Mountain Home did not fare as well in the second round as they fell to undefeated and top-ranked Searcy 62-18.
Mountain Home was led by Isaac Brunat, Damon Morgavan and Read Parker as each went 2-0 on the night. Seth Morgavan, Jasper Eola, Peyton Hughes, Owen Kraft, Riley Peters and Torbias Lambert were all 1-1 on the evening. In addition, Stone Standfield and Logan Hart each won exhibition matches.
The Bombers head to Cabot on Saturday to compete in the conference duals.
