A Mountain Home man, who was arrested in Boone County on a felony warrant from Mountain Home on January 19, is behind bars at the Baxter County jail. Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says 25 year old David W. Taylor was transported to the Baxter County jail Thursday where he is being held on $25,000 bond. Taylor faces felony charges including four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, 3 counts of distributing marijuana near certain facilities and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The police chief says law enforcement served a search warrant at a residence on Hillcrest during an investigation of illegal drug activity. When the search warrant was executed, officers located a camera surveillance system, drug paraphernalia and packaging items used for the distribution of drugs and a substance believed to be marijuana.

Taylor was not located at the residence and a bulletin was issued to local law enforcement with information identifying him and his vehicle. Within a hour he was stopped by Boone County law enforcement and taken into custody.
