Thunder's Kanter Breaks Forearm

Hannah Foslien/Getty Images(OKLAHOMA CITY) — The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Dallas Mavericks 109-98 Thursday night, but did suffer a significant loss.

Center Enes Kanter fractured his right forearm punching his hand on a chair on the Thunder bench out of frustration, and league sources told ESPN he could miss up to two months. Kanter will be re-evaluated.

“It’s tough, man, especially to do it the way he did it, it’s very unfortunate,” Thunder teammate Russell Westbrook said. “He’s a strong man, and he’ll be back better.

Kanter will be a big loss off the Thunder bench, averaging 14.4 points and 6.7 rebounds in 21.6 minsues per game this season.
