
SHERIDAN, Ark. (AP) – Authorities have arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of an Arkansas teenager.
The Grant County Sheriff's Office says Rusty Draper was arrested Thursday on suspicion of first-degree murder in the Jan. 19 shooting death of the 17-year-old. Police have not released the boy's name, who was a student at Sheridan High School.
Authorities have not yet said what may have prompted the shooting, which happened at a home in Sheridan.
Draper is being held in the Sheridan jail, and authorities did not know if he had an attorney.
