Basketball, bowling, swimming and wrestling make up the local Monday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School swim teams return to the road as they compete in another meet at Pocahontas. Action begins at five p.m.
In high school basketball, Cotter hosts Calico Rock, Norfork entertains Flippin, Viola’s boys travel to Mammoth Spring, the Bakersfield girls make the trip to Theodosia to face Lutie, Gainesville’s girls are home against Spokane, Dora hosts Eminence, the Melbourne girls entertain Highland, Timbo is home against Bergman, and Omaha’s boys host Blue Eye.
Three of Mountain Home’s boys’ basketball teams will be at the Hangar as they meet the Arkansas Flames home school program. The seventh grade game tips off at 4:00 followed by the freshmen and junior varsity contests.
On the junior high level, Yellville-Summit heads to Valley Springs, and Marshall entertains Green Forest.
In high school bowling, Norfork takes on Flippin at Driftwood Lanes, and Melbourne plays Southside Batesville at Horseshoe Lanes.
The Mountain Home junior varsity wrestling squad will be on a road trip as they compete at Searcy. The start time is scheduled for 6:00.
