The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Baxter County , According to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Deparment officials.
The purpose of the project is to resurface 4.6 miles of U. S. Highway 62B between U. S. Highway 62 West and U. S. Highway 62 East in Mountain Home.
Pace Construction Company, LLC of St. Louis has been awarded the contract at $1,283,000.
Constsruction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting with completion expected in early 2017.
