Shervin LainezBlack Crowes spin-off band The Magpie Salute has announced several far-flung concert dates.
The group is set for a three-night stand at London venue Under the Bridge, April 12-14. They’ve also scheduled a July 28 show at the Metro in Chicago and a September 7 gig at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Tickets for the latter two shows go on sale to the general public Friday, February 10th.
The Magpie Salute is led by Black Crowes co-founder and guitarist Rich Robinson. The band also includes former Crowes guitarist Marc Ford and former Moke frontman John Hogg on lead vocals.
On January 18, the Magpie Salute opened their show at New York City’s Gramercy Theater with a tribute to former Black Crowes keyboardist Eddie Harsch, who passed away in November.
