A Brockwell woman who came to the Izard County clerk’s office to pay fines was arrested for stealing the clerk’s wallet. Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence says 53 year old Latisha Darlene Hendee was charged with theft of property after turning herself in to authorities Friday. She was released from the Izard County jail after posting $500.
