
The Bridges Program of Mountain Home Public Schools will be offering free haircuts to all students at Nelson Wilks Herron School Thursday evening from 4 to 6 during parent teacher conferences. Jill Czanstkowski director of the Bridges program, says the free haircuts are being offered with the generosity of hair stylists from Mirror Mirror Salon. She says in August the free haircuts were one of the most popular offerings at the Bridges Back to School Bazaar.

The free haircuts are offered on a first come first serve basis only to students of Nelson Wilkes Herron School who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Czanstkowski is also asking for the public’s help in providing Valentines for students at Mountain Home Kindergarten and Nelson Wilks Herron School. She says some families are not able to afford provide their child with Valentines to give to their classmates.
Czanstkowski suggests child appropriate Valentines, particularly the ones with candy or lollipops attached, and enough for 20 to 25 students.
Valentines may be dropped off at the Mountain Home Kindergarten located at 1310 Post Oak Road the Nelson Wilks Herron School at 618 North College, the Mountain Home Administration Office at 2465 Rodeo Drive.
The deadline for the Valentine collection is Friday afternoon.
