A Harrison man, 36-year-old Matthew Jay Bolen, who is accused of killing his estranged wife has been officially charged with capital murder and kidnapping. According to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, the charges were filed Monday in Boone County Circuit Court.
Bolen was captured January 26th after four days on the run. He allegedly shot 26-year-old Heaven Bolen, the mother of their 8-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son, who are currently in state protective custody. She later died at a hospital in Springfield.
Bolen is currently being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.
