Basketball and bowling make up the local Wednesday schedule.
The postseason begins for the Mountain Home High School bowling teams. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be in Cabot for the 7A/6A-Central Conference Tournament. Action begins at 11 a.m. at Allfam Bowling.
In basketball, the semifinals of the 1A-1 East Junior Conference Tournament will be held at Western Grove. In girls’ action, St. Joe and Jasper tip off at 5:00, and the host and top-seeded Junior Lady Warriors face Deer at 7:00. On the boys’ bracket, Jasper takes on Deer at 6:00, and Bruno-Pyatt plays top-seeded Western Grove at 8:00.
The 3A-1 East Junior Conference Tournament will wrap up its opening round at the Yellville-Summit Multi-Purpose Facility. On the girls’ side, Valley Springs tips off at 4:00 against Clinton, and Melbourne meets Green Forest at 6:30. In the boys’ games, Melbourne faces Clinton at 5:15, and Valley Springs takes on Green Forest at 7:45.
