
(AP) – Police say one person was killed and three others
injured in a shooting in southwest Little Rock.
A police report says officers responded just after 11:15 p.m. Tuesday to an
apartment near the interchange of interstates 30 and 430 where they found
18-year-old Alexander Reed dead and the other three wounded inside the
apartment. The wounded were hospitalized in stable condition.
Police say the victims said they were in the apartment when three men tried to
rob them, then opened fire while one of the victims returned gunfire,
Police say while officers were investigating the shooting, Pine Bluff police
notified them that one suspect was hospitalized in Pine Bluff with a gunshot
wound to the hand.
Police say the suspect is in custody at the hospital pending formal charges.
