The Mountain Home High School basketball teams will be back on the road Friday to continue district play. The Bombers and Lady Bombers wrap up the week by taking on Beebe.

Mountain Home’s girls are currently 13-11 on the season and 6-3 in the 6A/5A-2 after beating up on Morrilton Tuesday. Beebe improved to 17-7 and 7-2 a week ago when they squeaked by with a one-point win over Vilonia. The Lady Bombers defeated the Lady Badgers 37-30 on January 17th.

Mountain Home is 9-14 overall and 4-5 in the district after falling to Morrilton three nights back. Beebe is 12-12 and 6-3 after edging out Vilonia last Friday. The Bombers came back from a 20-point second half deficit less than a month ago to top the Badgers 41-40.

The girls’ game tips off at six p.m. at Badger Sports Arena followed by the boys’ contest. Both games can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
