A Harrison woman and two passengers in her vehicle were injured in a two vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Taney County Thursday afternoon. A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 27 year old Alyssa B. Eggleton was moderately injured and her passengers, 52 year old Steve Eggleton and six year old Sophia M. Engel, also of Harrison, sustained minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, 79 year old Della C. Bryant of Blue Eye was seriously injured. All were transported by ambulance to Cox Hospital in Branson.
The 1:51 p.m. accident on U. S. Highway 65 at Highway 86 in Ridgedale occurred when Bryant, driving a 2002 Toyota, failed to yield to Eggleton’s 2006 Scion at the intersection. Bryant was the only person not wearing a seat belt in the accident which totaled both vehicles.
