
A Caulfield man, 85-year-old Paul F. Noblitt, died recently from injuries sustained in an accident on Highway 160 which occurred on January 24th. According to the Ozark County Times, Noblitt was traveling westbound on 160, two miles west of Caulfield, when he failed to stop for a Missouri Department of Transportation flagman. He smashed into the rear of a MoDOT truck.
According to the Missouri State Highway patrol Noblitt was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
He was originally taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains and later transferred to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, where he died.
