MH girls take 2nd in state bowling tourney; boys finish 9th

The Mountain Home High School bowling teams took part in the Classes 7A/6A State Tournament Tuesday at Fast Lane Entertainment in Lowell, and one team nearly came away with the top prize.



The Lady Bombers finished as runners-up with a total pin count of 3,470. Cabot left the alley with the state championship. Individually for Mountain Home, Caitlyn Kill was the silver medalist with a 581 series, and Dani Frencl finished with a 518 series. Both were selected for the All-State team.



Mountain Home’s boys ended up with a pin count of 3,485 to finish ninth in the tournament. The boys’ title went to Lake Hamilton. Christian Amato had the the Bombers’ top individual game with a 223, Jonathan Fox rolled a 203 and a 190, and Dylan Linker added a 201.
