A Boone County man, 62-year-old Billy Ray Evans, was arrested Tuesday after allegedly shooting at a family member as they were driving down Norvell Drive in Harrison. The victim was not injured in the shooting but bullet holes were found on the vehicle.

According to Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore, an investigation into the incident led to several witness accounts leading to Evan’s arrest. He admitted firing at the vehicle and has apparently had an ongoing dispute with the victim. He has been charged with committing a terroristic act and was booked into the Boone County Jail on $100,000 bond.
