Basketball and wrestling make up the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School wrestling team will spend two days in Little Rock as they compete in the Arkansas State Tournament. Action begins at ten a.m. at the Jack Stephens Center on the UALR campus.
In high school basketball, the 2A-2 Conference Tournament will come to an end at Cotter Coliseum. The third place games start at 4:00, and the championship contests are scheduled for 7:00.
The title games of the 1A-1 East Conference Tournament will be held at the Pioneer Pavilion on the south campus of North Arkansas College in Harrison. The girls’ game tips off at 6:00 between St. Joe and Jasper, and Jasper’s boys take on Deer at 7:15.
