Bakersfield High School National Honor Society students have organized a pie auction, to be held for the daughter of a 2012 Bakersfield alumni, Friday night at 6:00 in the evening at the Jerry Taylor Gymnasium. The building will be open all day to bring in baked or donated goods.
Emberlyn Alice Bales is the daughter of the former student and West Plains resident, Ryan Bales, and mother Kelsey. Superintendent of the Bakersfield R-IV School District, Dr. Amy Britt, says Ryan and Kelsey have faced challenges with Emberlyn’s health.

Dr. Britt says in addition to pies and baked goods there will be other items available for auction. There will also be a chili supper and concession stand open with all the proceeds going toward baby Emberlyn’s medical expenses. For additional information call 417-284-7333.
