Two Mountain Home men are being held in the Baxter County jail on multiple felony charges following their separate arrests by Mountain Home Police, the Arkansas State Police and the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force. Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says 59 year old Wayne L. Willett was arrested Thursday and 25 year old Caleb J. Woodell was apprehended Friday. They are both charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs and firearms and possession of a defaced firearm. Their charges also have the felony enhancement of being in proximity to a city park. Bond for each is set at $30,000.

The police chief says when officers from the three agencies served a search warrant at a residence on Rossi Road Thursday, Willett, armed with a loaded gun, was found but not Woodell. During a search of the home about a pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a number of loaded firearms were found.

The following day, Woodell called the police department saying he was at the Rossi Road residence and he wanted his guns to be returned. When officers returned to the residence, he fled into a nearby wooded area where he was found and placed under arrest.
