A Mountain Home man is behind bars for the third time in six months on felony drug charges following his arrest Thursday by Mountain Home Police. Twenty-seven year old Timothy Gibbs is being held in the Baxter County jail with bond set at $2,500, according to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor driving on a suspended license.

The Police Chief says Gibbs’ most recent arrest occurred when he was spotted driving a vehicle by a police officer who knew Gibbs’ license was suspended. The officer initiated a traffic stop and during a search of the vehicle a plastic baggie containing one gram of methamphetamine and a used syringe were found.

In early January Gibbs was arrested on similar charges under the same circumstances, being spotted driving a vehicle by a police officer who knew his license was suspended. In late August of last year Gibbs was arrested by deputies from the Baxter County Sheriff’s department for felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
