The Mountain Home Junior High Quiz Bowl team placed first in tournament competition held recently in Searcy. Anne Sergeant, team advisor, says the Mountain Home team competed against 10 teams, three from each regional tournament representing the first, second and third place finishes at regional competition and a wild card team.
The team's members are Grace Beckham, Chase Blum, Case Duren, Cheyenne Ethridge, Tyler Firment and Victoria Bevel. Beckham was selected as all tournament player, based on her scores.
