A Stone County woman is being held in the Izard County jail on $40,000 bond following her arrest on over a dozen felony charges. Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence says 41 year old Shandal Leigha Hamrick of Mountain View was arrested February 27 on a warrant issued three days early for seven felony drug charges, as a felon in possession of a fire arm, hindering apprehension and a misdemeanor charge of contributing to welfare of a minor. At the time of her arrest, three felony and one misdemeanor drug charges were added to her list of offenses.
