
The Mountain Home High School baseball team split their double header at home Tuesday against Vilonia.
The Bombers used a big second inning to win the first game 6-1. Mountain Home scored all of their runs in the second frame, highlighted by a bases loaded triple by Marshall Roberson.
Roberson worked five scoreless innings and struck out six on the mound to earn the win.
In the second game, Vilonia topped Mountain Home 7-5. The Bombers were ahead 5-3 before the Eagles scored four runs to take the lead.
Mountain Home is now 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the 6A/5A-2 District.
