
Norfork Dam will see a further reduction in its releases Monday. The Little Rock District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reports the spillway will be reduced to 9,000 cubic feet per second beginning at noon.
According to the Corps, six spillway gates will be opened to six inches releasing 3,200 cubic feet per second. This will be in addition to 5,800 cubic feet per second continuing to be released from its two turbine generators.
