Ricky Estes of Mountain Home entered a guilty plea to charges stemming from an attack on his neighbor and was given five years probation and 30 days in jail during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.
In early October last year, Baxter County Deputies were called to an address along Cochran Drive. When they met with the victim, he reported that the 56-year-old Estes had come to the house “yelling and screaming” and beating on his door.
The neighbor said Estes made entry to his house and struck the victim in the stomach and threatened him. Estes was said to have threatened that if the neighbor called the police on him anymore, he would beat the man up.
Estes faced charges of breaking or entering and third degree battery. An order prohibiting Estes from having contact with the victim or his family will remain in effect for five years.
