Trees down in MH as storm moves through

Storms moved through the Twin Lakes area overnight leaving some downed trees inside the Mountain Home city limits and including significant damage to a vacant mobile home.

Mountain Home Police Department dispatch advises street department employees were busy this morning with cleanup in the area of 9th Street, Waverly and Kathleen, as further assessment continued throughout Mountain Home.

A vacant mobile home in the Oak Tree Mobile Home Park on 9th Street received significant damage when a tree fell on it.

Waverly Street was reported about 80 percent blocked early this morning as street department employees worked to clear it.

No injuries have been reported from the storm.

Meteorologist Lance Pyle with the National Weather Service out of North Little Rock advises the rainfall should be moving out as the morning continues.
