2 die, including pedestrian, in Arkansas traffic accidents

(AP) – Arkansas State Police say two people have been killed,
including a woman trying to cross an interstate on foot, in traffic accidents
during the weekend.Police reports say 55-year-old Kimberly Warren of Alexander died late Friday
while trying to cross Interstate 30 in Alexander and 19-year-old Mario Rebollar
of Danville was killed Saturday in a head-on collision on Highway 27 southwest
of Dardanelle.

A police report says Warren was trying to cross the interstate on foot shortly
before midnight Friday when she was struck by two vehicles in the westbound
lanes of traffic.

Another report says Rebollar died when the vehicle he was driving crossed the
centerline of the highway about 12:30 a.m. Saturday and collided with an
oncoming vehicle.
