4 arrested in connection with burglaries at Melbourne tractor dealership

Four arrests have been made by the Izard County Sheriff’s Office in connection with burglaries to a Melbourne tractor dealership.

According to Sheriff Jack Yancey, 28-year-old Jeffrey McKinney of Melbourne and 31-year-old Robert Harris of Wynne are each charged with felony counts of breaking or entering and theft of property and a misdemeanor count of theft of property, and McKinney also faces a felony count of commercial burglary. McKinney and Harris were both arrested Wednesday and remain in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of $15,000 bond.

Forty-seven-year-old Mary McKinney and 44-year-old Johnny Stowe, both of Melbourne, were each charged with a misdemeanor count of theft by receiving and have been released after posting $1,000 bond. Stowe will appear in Izard County District Court June 15th, and Mary McKinney will make her court appearance two days later.

All charges stem from burglaries and thefts to Newburg Tractor and Equipment.
