The Cotter City Council is scheduled to meet Thursday evening at 6:00 in Council Chambers. Items on the meeting’s agenda include reports from Public Works, the Cotter Fire and Police Departments, a building permit report and a Planning and Zoning Commission report.
Under old business Cotter Mayor Peggy Hammock will ratify the new appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Under new business Tim Malaney is expected to address the council regarding storm water control and flooding. A resolution to receive non-matching grant funds from the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission for phase one of the ductile iron and regrade sewer lines will be presented.
Mayor Hammock will also give a report on the McGowne property and the medical rates for the Arkansas Municipal League.
Hammock says there will be a Memorial Service Tuesday evening at 6:00 at the Walnut Hill Cemetery and a 2017 Memorial Day Proclamation.
