FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) Police in Fort Smith are investigating the deaths of three men in what investigators believe is a double murder-suicide.

Sgt. Daniel Grubbs of the Fort Smith Police Department says officers responded to reports that three men had been injured by gunfire at a Fort Smith residence at 8:04 p.m. Friday. There they found the bodies of 47-year-old Dinh To, 48-year-old Long Nguyen and 56-year-old Pho Vu, all of Fort Smith.

Grubbs says a 9mm handgun was found at the residence with three spent shells. He says a preliminary investigation indicates To shot Nguyen and Vu and then turned the gun on himself.

Grubbs says the three men knew each other but there is no clear motive for the shootings.

The investigation is ongoing and additional details were not immediately available.
