Saturday schedule includes baseball, swimming

Baseball and swimming make up the local Saturday schedule.

American Legion baseball continues at Lester White Field at Cooper Park as the Mickey Huskey Twin Lakes Classic will wrap up pool play on Magness Oil Night.
The Mountain Home Lockeroom will be looking for its first win of the tournament as they will be paired with Conway. The first pitch is scheduled for seven p.m.
The Mountain Home Babe Ruth 15-year-old All-Stars will continue to be Prescott’s replacement as they will face Paragould. Gametime is set for 4:30.
In the earlier games, Harrison and Pontotoc, Mississippi, at noon, and Benton takes on Germantown, Tennessee, at 2:15.

District play resumes for Cal Ripken baseball.
The Cal Ripken 12-Year-Old North District West Tournament continues in Mountain Home. Carroll County meets Springdale at 9:30, Tri-County plays Pea Ridge at 11:15, and the Mountain Home 12s will be matched up with Bentonville at 1:00. Bracket play begins at 3:15.
Mountain Home will also begin hosting the Cal Ripken 11-Year-Old North District West Tournament. Mountain Home and Rogers get started at 11:30, Carroll County plays Bentonville at 1:30 and Rogers at 3:30, and Mountain Home goes up against Bentonville at 5:30.
Mountain Home will play in the semifinals of the Cal Ripken Nine-Year-old North District West Tournament at Harrison. The Sharks will take the field at 2:00.
The Mountain Home Stars will continue action in the Cal Ripken Eight-Year-Old North District West Tournament at Springdale. The Stars meet Bentonville at noon.

In addition to American Legion baseball, there will also be swimming at Cooper Park. The Hurricanes will host at meet at the Mountain Home City Pool. Action begins at 9:00.
