Baseball and swimming make up the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team will begin another tournament. The Lockeroom will compete in the Glen Sain GMC Classic at Paragould as their first opponent will be teh Joboro Jackals. The first pitch is scheduled for three p.m.
The Babe Ruth 15-Year-Old North District West Tournament will get underway at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison.
Mountain Home’s first game will be on Pippin Field. The Blue Devils will take the field at 8:00 against the winner of the 5:30 game between Tri-County and Carroll County.
Harrison will go up against Springdale on Jack Williams Field. Gamestime is set for 5:30.
Some members of the Mountain Home Hurricanes swim team will be in Little Rock. The Junior Olympic Qualifier will be held Friday through Sunday.
