ST. LOUIS (AP) Josh Bell and John Jaso homered as the Pittsburgh Pirates broke their Busch Stadium hex with a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night. The Pirates broke a seven-game losing streak in St. Louis.
The series continues Saturday as Lance Lynn starts for the Cardinals, and Pittsburgh will go with Gerrit Cole. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:15. Saturday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The Ameren Pregame Show begins at 5:20.
