$100,000 in damage after man drives into Mizzou Arena

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) – A 23-year-old man has been arrested after authorities say
he smashed through two gates and drove his car onto the basketball court at the
University of Missouri over the weekend, causing an estimated $100,000 in
damage. Police were called early Sunday after a Volkswagen Passat was driven
through a closed gate at Mizzou Arena. The driver then went through a garage
door and damaged several golf carts before steering onto the court, then leaving
the same way before smashing through another gate.
