MH duo finishes 1st round of High School Fishing World Finals

A pair from the Bomber bass team began action in the High School Fishing World Finals and National Championships Wednesday at Pickwick Lake in Alabama. Jay Gore and Noah Boyett are currently 95th in the National Championship competition and tied for 202nd in the World Finals after catching one fish weighing three pounds, two ounces.

The field will be cut after Thursday’s second round action. The top two teams from each state advance to the World Semifinals on Friday, and the top ten in the National Championship qualified anglers standings advance to the National Championship finals.
