The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team clinched the Al Solenberger Pool at the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament Monday in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, after a pair of walkoff victories.
Marshall Roberson hit the game-winning RBI double in the eighth inning to give the Lockeroom a 9-8 win over Lawrence, Kansas. Dylan Reynolds was the winning pitcher.
Mountain Home finished pool play by scoring three runs in the seventh inning, including a walkoff two-run single by Jonathan Martin, to push past Nixa 7-6. Roberson picked up the victory as he pitched a complete game.
