
An apparant home invasion at 9:41 Tuesday night resulted in the shooting death of a relative by the homeowner. According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manual, police officers responded to a reported home invasion involving the discharge of a firearm. Upon arrival, they found a wounded suspect who was shot by the homeowner. The suspect died at the scene. The suspect is reported to be related to the homeowner.
An investigation into the incident is on-going and the suspects name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Manual says additional details may be released sometime Wednesday afternoon.
