Fulton County Fair announces exhibitor entry deadlines

Fulton County Fair officials reminds exhibitors entries should be pre-registered by July 15 to expedite check-in and give fair officials time to prepare entry tags, judging sheets, and exhibit space. All Creative Arts exhibits will check in on Monday morning, July 24 from 11:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon. Follow the link for online entries on the fair website at www.fultoncountyfair.org . The computer program does not save passwords so exhibitors will need to select a new password each year. The online entries will shut down at midnight on July 15.Creative Arts and Livestock Tabloids, including rules and entry information, are available on the fair website. Exhibitors are encouraged to visit the fair website to get a complete entry list for exhibits. There are several new exhibits and four special contests with additional prize money.

A new special contest this year is the Salem VFW Post 9777 Auxiliary Patriotic Art Contest. They will award $135 extra prize money for this contest. The Beta Sigma Phi pie baking contest has $240 added prize money and the Pacesetting Times “This is Fulton County Photography Contest” has $120 added prize money. The sew with cotton quilt/wall hanging contest has $300 added prize money and the King Arthur Flour baking contest has King Arthur Flour gift cards valued at $225 as well as other prizes. Rules for the special contests are listed in the Creative Arts Tabloid under Department Two for art, Department Six for food preparation, Department Ten for hobbies and photography, and Department 13 for household arts and Quilting.
