An Air Force airman with ties to the Twin Lakes Area recently completed basic military training. Brayden Crews is the son of Miranda Bobbitt of Mountain Home, and he was an honor graduate at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
Crews completed an intensive eight-week program including training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. He will also earn four credits toward an Associate of Applied Science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Crews is a 2015 graduate of Har-Ber High School in Springdale.
