The Mountain Home High School tennis teams opened their season Monday with a pair of wins at Cabot.
The Lady Bombers were 9-0 winners. Winning in singles play were Emily Heide, Sydney Czanstkowski, Meagan Beck, Sarah Godfrey, Elizabeth Lewis and Mandelyn Smeltzer. Winning in doubles action were the teams of Beck and Lewis, Czanstkowski and Godfrey and Heide and Smeltzer.
The win runs the Lady Bombers win stream to 17 straight matches dating back to 2015.
The Bombers defeated Cabot 7-2. Singles winners included Billy Beck, Sam Arp, Jack Arp, CJ Blackmon, Dylan Kimbriel and Grahm Davidson. The doubles team of Beck and Jack Arp also got a victory.
In J.V. action, Chloe Nosari and Garrett Steelman got singles wins while the doubles team of Madilyn Jones and Kaitlyn Guinn won.
The Mountain Home tennis teams will play Conway at UCA Thursday.
