
Baxter Regional Medical Center is welcoming another addition to its medical staff. Board-certified gastroenterologist Dr. William Silber is in practice at BRMC Gastroenterology and Advanced Imaging and is now accepting new patients.
Silber was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and he studied biochemistry at the University of Ottawa before attending medical school at the University of Toronto. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the Hopsital of Saint Raphael at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Silber later completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Harvard Medical School-affiliated Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts, and New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He has been practicing in gastroenterology for nearly 25 years.
Silber’s wife, Shelly, is a registered nurse. His daughter, Ariella, is an aspiring singer, songwriter and actress.
