
The Mountain Home High School football team got their first taste of game like conditions Thursday night when they hosted Blytheville for a pre-season scrimmage. The final score was 6-3 Blytheville but the two varsity teams played to a 0-0 tie in their half of action. Mountain Home’s points came on a 35 yard field goal by Mikey McLean. The Chickasaws added a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Mountain Home head coach Bryan Mattox says overall he was pleased with his team’s performance, especially on defense playing against Blytheville’s speed.

Offensively, Mountain Home used a lot of different players due to injuries.
